We’re in Sri Lanka and the waves are pumping!
Our journey started in Mirissa : it was head-high and off shore for 3 days straight. We then went to Hiriketiya for some foamie action, sick little left handers peeling for 200 yds over urchin infested reef. The next port of call was Kabalana – the waves pumped again – 3 to 4ft everyday.
We’re sat in Main Reef restaurant in Hikkaduwa at the moment. We’ve just ordered some large bottles of Lion and 2 prawn curries, lovely! The waves have been firing; every morning we’re greeted with pure overhead oceanic glass … rad😁☀️!
Next week we fly back to Cornwall. The long term chart looks good. The morning before we left we scored one of the biggest sessions of the Winter so far, check !
