It has been pumping for weeks! I’ve been permanently surfed out, 4 to 5 hours every day of solid shredding. The water temperature has dropped, it’s about 8 degrees, apparently the weather is going super cold next week so the water temp will drop even more – Luckily I’ve just picked up my new 6,5,4 wetsuit from the legends at SNUGG.
The water is full of sea life at the moment, we’ve got seals, puffins, dolphins and last week there was a hump back whale in the Bay…..rad!!
Watergate was firing yesterday, 4 to 5ft and offshore; perfect! I surfed Mexico’s today, it was head high and peeling for 200 metres – the banks have been good all Winter,; one wave was so long my legs went numb from doing turns and I had to kick out.
